Where it all started.
Perhaps you want to hear about what inspired me to start.
Well, It was a handmade camera.
A simple brown box with a cut-out viewfinder.
My grandmother enthusiastically helped me make it when I was 6. I drew the portraits...
It was a lot of work.
Then it was my dad's Nokia 6610i.
A total GAME-CHANGER. The plants in the garden were my muse (they still are btw).
Time did it's thing and I turned 16. My dad was going to gift me a 125cc bike for my birthday, but I requested a camera instead. I justified this with "I'd rather walk and take pictures than drive and take no pictures."
It was a fantastic decision, to say the least.
Completely fascinated with how light acts and how colours make me feel, I decided to study professional photography.
Wow, that was EPIC. I worked in the darkroom where I got to actually play with light, I got my friends in the studio, and a whole bunch of other epic stuff.
Highly recommend.
Up to now, I still can't tell the future, but I'm all here for it.
